Our Teaching Methodology
With over 13 years of experience running Happy Chinese Talkers (formerly Little Mandarin Talkers), together with many years of teaching in early years and primary education settings, we have developed a unique and effective teaching methodology for both Mandarin and Cantonese.
Our approach combines structured language learning with interactive, engaging activities, enabling students of all ages and abilities to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Lessons are carefully tailored to suit different learning styles and age groups, ensuring that every child enjoys their language-learning journey while making meaningful progress.
Through our bespoke methodology, students not only acquire practical language skills in Mandarin or Cantonese but also gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture, traditions, and heritage. Our goal is to create a positive, and inspiring environment where every learner can thrive.
Working together, our Chinese native-speaking teachers and our non-native Chinese-speaking teachers bring unique perspectives to the learning experience. We believe that the combination of native-level language knowledge and the firsthand experience of learning Chinese as English speakers is what makes our lessons so successful.

Classes and Fees
We offer group classes for children from 3 years old, GCSE and adult classes. We also offer private tuition and after school clubs.
